You can use any PCIe X16 card you want, the only restriction being the power supply. Most of the high end gaming cards require minimum 400w supply with 600w for crossfire. The 530 comes with a 300w supply so, if you were looking for a card with out upgrading power supply you would have to stay within the 300w supply. I personally like the ATI/AMD Radeon HD cards because you gain sound and video through card but thats just me. If you are a light to moderate gamer and want HD video for tv monitor, etc. a midrange card, probably in the price range of $80.00 would ne good for you and could be done without upgrading power supply.

Another advantage to the Radeon HD cards with the 530 is if you wanted to upgrade your power supply, and go with a bigger card the 530 has plenty of room but will cover your other PCIe sound slot but, it won't matter because you will gain sound from your graphics card.

GeForce GT 520 1GB latest and greatest (well not Greatest, but a good upgrade.)
Wow! That looks like a good one! :D I'll look into that one. Do you think I can play Guild Wars if I use that card?
Can this video card work with my Dell Inspiron 530s?http://www.amazon.com/VisionTek-Radeon-E...
This card is 2.1 x 16. Some say you can make it work but, your board is not designed to use this card. If you could get it to work, it wouldn't run to full capacity. It also requires a 400w power supply so, you would have to upgrade your power supply as well.
oooh ok. if i downgraded the OS from vista to XP, am I still able to run the graphic cards u suggested?
Actually, I just found out that my PSU only has 250 watts. Not 300. it's not a regular 530 model. it's a 530s (slim). :/ So what card is good for 250 watts instead of 300 watts?
