This can be repaired fairly inexpensively. However, it's not a user serviceable problem and will need to be repaired by a qualified service technician.

My name is Rick and I'm a professional repair technician with over 20 years in the business and have repaired many of these. I'm semi retired and work from home with little overhead so I can keep repair costs low. If you decide to have the camera repaired, please click HERE for a directory listing that suits your needs.

Hi you might want to check if your back up lights and your back up sensors are working, this can be a sign of the transmission control module not working properly. There is a controller that tells the radio to switch to camera view. Let me know what you find out.

My everon digital camera show the lock option during capturing a videos or taking a picture it show that my camera is lock. and the protection options are disabled and can't enable.

Look at your memory card. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card. If the switch is already in the proper position, slide it fully the other way and then back again.

If that doesn't work, try another card.

It will let me record but no play back,it says set to manual but it dosen't play the video back, and even if it's turned off it still stay's on

Your camera's function switch fails(the slide switch at the top,POWER, REC and PLAY select switch). If you have background in repairing, you can clean that switch from the inside with contact clean. Coz what you see in the outside is just a knob, the switch is far inside. Take a lot of care when opening, avoid stress on flexible wires. Good Luck

Make sure you have set the camera to the appropriate mode under the Set Up Menu -- choose NTSC or PAL (for USA it should be NTSC.)  Ensure the proper connections are made to the TV -- Yellow to Video and White to Audio (the camera plays music to accompany your photos).   Make sure your TV is tuned to the proper video channel, which is usually 3.   Now you can turn the camera on.  Now go under the Playback Menu and choose the folder your photos are located in, usually "Current" Now, since there are quite a few options from here, check on page 75 of your manual under Slide Show, and you will see the various options available, such as choosing the music to play.

Unable to take Pictures

So, you're using Ni-MH batteries already, once you've turned it on and then you have to press on the PLAY button to view pictures, i need you to double check the battery type option of your camera by doing the steps below:

- Press MENU
- Scroll to the right until you are in SETUP 2
- Go down to Battery Type
- Switch it over to Ni-MH (for Rechargeable batteries)
- Select Alkaline (for Non-rechargeable batteries)
- Press MENU/OK for changes to be saved

Turn off camera for a few seconds so settings will be refreshed.
Turn on camera without pressing on the PLAY button to double check if it works.

If it does not work still, try to turn on again camera and immediately press on PLAY button to view pictures. Try to press again on PLAY button so you'll be on the mode to
take a picture.

If it still does not work, can you please try Non-rechargeable batteries (Alkaline) with your camera if it won't work with the Nickel-metal Hydride (Ni-MH) Rechargeable batteries.

Make sure you have set properly the battery type of the camera under SETUP 2 for Alkaline.
