I'VE LOST THE PICTURE PACKAGE SOFTWARE, VERSION 1.5 FOR HANDYCAM AND THE MOVIE EIDTING SOFTWARE THAT CAME WITH IT ( I THINK IT'S CALLED GOLD...... SOMETHING.

ANYONE KNOW WHAT THE MOVIE EDITING SOFTWARE IS & WHERE CAN I DOWNLOAD PICTURE PACKAGE VERSION 1.5 FOR FREE.

Dont know if you've already found the Sony Picture Package software version 1.5 for Handycam, but I've got it. Be willing to share if someone can tell me how to go about it.

Sony offers PMB software instead of Picture Package that does same job.
Click Sony Support link and follow the instructions to download/ install PMB for your camcorder.

You need "Picture Package" software supplied with Sony camera to transfer video files in to PC. If you have software CD, please install it and connect your camrea with USB port.
If you dont have CD, check following Sony official weblink to download USB Driver, though it will not give you proper control on file transfer procedure yet it do help you to connect camera with PC.

and download the latest version of pic package 1.8 at the bottom. solved the problem in 30 seconds!

Have found the solution to the problem. If you cannot access Picture Package because it says Macromedia Flash needs to be downloaded, and you have already downloaded Flash successfully then the problem is with Picture Package, and it needs to be updated. Go to http://www.ppackage.com/e/index.html and download the most recent update for your version of Picture Package. This solved the problem for me and hopefully will do the same for you!

C:31:30, C:32:30 errors (tape mechanism) My dcr-hc19e suddenly refuses inserting tape, showing "C:31:30" error message on the display. The mechanism remains idle, instead of going inside; after a few minutes it tends to eject the tape. I've tried different tape brands, same result. Then, after an episode of ejecting, the display showed: "C:32:30". No violent episodes occurred. Any suggestions?
