Hi there,
Could you kindly tell me how to calibrate my Tag Heuer Formula 1 (CAC1111.BA0850) back to the zero position. The long hand and the related counters do not return to the zero position when i try to reset it.
I would be most grateful for your help.

This is not a cheap watch....You should send it to a qualified watchmaker or the manufacturer. This watch has to have a pressure test to insure it's water tight. This may require replacement of some or all of the gaskets in the case.I would never recommend that this is something that you should try to do yourself.You would be amazed at the money I make do to improper replacement of JUST the battery.

You can find the instructions on the Tag wed site (www.tagheuer.com), select "watches" then "formula 1"
then "man" and then the model of your watch.
On the right of the page is a small menu,select "user manual"

Try turning it anticlockwise then pull out.

Try this.
Pull the winder out fully. Then press the top right chronograph button to move the centre seconds hand on. Then push the winder back in.
on some models you should only pull the winder half way out.
