You could try to run the game in Compatability Mode:

Create a shortcut to the game on your desktop if you don't already have one. Right click on it, choose Properties. Choose the Compatibility tab and mess with it (I would probably try the OS that the game was originally designed for first). It is OK to mess around with it because you are only adjusting the shortcut, not the game software itself. Good luck.

In general, processors are not replaceable except with the same model. There are several problems including, motherboard circuits, BIOS support, soldering, etc. Even just swapping processors is a difficult to impossible job best left to experts.
If you price motherboards, you'll only find a replacement, not an upgrade. Spend your money on a desktop system.

However, you can install the program in Windows Vista compatibility mode.

1. Right click on the InDesign CS2 setup file and select properties.
2. Click on Compatibility tab nad check the box for "Run this program in compatibility mode for" and select Widnows Vista operating system.
3. click on Apply and click on Ok.
4. Right click on InDesign CS2 and select "Run as Administrator" to start the installation.

Try to run windows vista in compatibility mode. If you can't find the driver for it, even under driverguide.com, this is about the only other thing you can try.
