I have a Fujitsu ASTA24LCC heat pump and it has stopped going, but is showing some form of fault code. Operation & Timer lights flash together twice then operation light flashes 5 times. What does this mean?

Exactly same problem happens during the night (second night now). Got it going again last night by turning power off at mains. Not really the way it should go?

Check your filters. Manual says they need to be cleaned every two weeks under normal operation (and in my case more often during renovations). It seems it may not take much to limit air flow enough for the indoor unit to trip out. Hope this helps.

Another way this can happen for me it seems is, if it is frosty outside and I crank up the heating by 3 or 4 degrees the unit trips out. Turning it off at the mains and waiting a while before attempting to restart did the trick this morning. Don't bother to ring Fujitsu for information - you will be wasting your time!

Fujitsu mini-split - I removed the condenser pump Now it won't cool, lights flash: Economy lite flashes constantly, Timer and Operation lites alternate flashing, about a second apart- please help.

Some evaporator blower units are electricaly interlocked with condensation pump. Besides the power to the pump, there would be two other wires, these two wires when open locks out the cooling, splice them together to bypass the interlock. In most cases though.

Fujitsu Inverter ASTA24LCC has flashing "Operation" and sometimes "Timer" lights. I have cleaned filters but the lights still flash. Does anyone know the issue here?

You may need to open the louver and hold down the Manual/Auto button for 10 seconds to see if you can reset the machine. Additionally, unplug the unit for 30 seconds or so and then plug back in.

Heat pump won't start, red light flashing

I do warranty work for Fujitsu ACs. You need to be more specific with the "Flashing" How many flashes of both the timer, and operation light are there? These relate to problems/faults. Take note next time and post it back here.

Fujitsu Heat Pump - problems with timer? When starting the heat pump - the operation light, together with the timer light blinks twice, then the operation light blinks another five times. Then the...

I had the same problem. The heater did not work in heating mode. However it was OK in air-conditioning mode. The operation light and the timer light blink twice and then the operation light blinks for 5 times followed by few seconds non blinking, then the cycle repeats again. I have read on the internet that you better unplug the power cord and then plug it again so that the heater re-sets itself. My only problem was that my heater is directly plugged to the power with no visible plug. So I went to the main distribution board and put off the power for about 20 seconds for the whole home. HOORAY!! The heater worked after that.
