Most car stereos are simple to wire, especially sony!
Main power cable colours are:..
RED = LIVE (+)
BLACK = NEGATIVE (-)
YELLOW = MEMORY/SWITCH LIVE it will be next to the red and black cables
ORANGE AND WHITE = ELECTRIC ARIAL (IF FITTED)
BLUE = REMOTE WIRE (FOR AMP CONTROL IF USING)

You should now be left with a couple of audio out jacks and speaker cables,
the speaker cables are straightforward, most have a twin, ...E.G if you have a grey wire, this should be next to a grey and white (or grey and black, depends on model) wich is classed as its PAIR/TWIN.............
an so forth,...green, purple, white, brown.....ect ect
each colour havin a twin as stated ealier!! (they are twinned, as the solid colour is usually the negative speaker, and the solid colour with a stripe through it is usually the posative speaker connection (eg..single solid colour is (-)...and...solid colour with stripe is posetive (+)...)
