Sir, when ever I swith on my Sony ericcson W580i, I get a message asking for formating of memory card. I accept or not, in both cases the formating fails and when I try to access files in Memory card, it simply says that no memory card was inserted. I formatted the memory card using a computer and tried again but still I failed. Can u please guide through this problem
I have the same issue. ATT service told me that its a software issue. They will replace the phone. In the meantime, this is the fix they gave me.
WHILE POWERED UP!!!
Remove the battery for a few seconds. This will reset the phone somehow. It WILL NOT erase sim, phone, or storage! This works for awhile and then will not work as well. Its not a memory issue. I have tried the memory in my wifes phone. She has no issues with her 580i. Get it replaced.
Great phone except this single issue!
Format it to your computer first, then format again your memory to your phone so you could get the system files to your memory
