How about direct from Cuisinart Kathleen? Although strangely, they quote part DLC-839ATX-1 as the correct one. Could your processor NOT be a DLC-8S I wonder?

I N EED THE REPLACEMENT PART FOR BRAVETTI MODEL KP80B

Place the gearbox on top of the blender/food processor
Place the work bowl over the spindle, with the handle facing the front of the machine - make sure the tabs lock into place.
Place the stem adapter on top of the spindle, then the blade.
Place the lid on top of the bowl, with the feed tube facing the back of the food processor. Then the pusher into the feed tube.

Would be good to know the model number - look at the base plate as Kenwood made 4 different Multi Pro Compact models.
