There probably is a TV/Video button on the bottom of your TV. Push the button until the screen changes to a regular screen. The TV/Video button is also on the remote most likely. Just keep pushing it. Often there are 2 or 3 aux channels. Hope it works!

How to get system to play the sound from regular television.

Well this is a very common solution. Evry system has an AUX output and Every TV has the AUX input. All you have to do is connect the AUX output of the surround system to the AUX input that is found in your TV. Most tv's have this AUX input on its front or you might also find it on the rear of the TV.

I cannot figure out how to change my aux settings to on. Nor the d-aux. any help? I am also unable to change the display color.

try this

Setting the AUX Mode (V-Link)
AUX IN ON / AUX IN OFF (Initial setting)
You can input TV/video sound by connecting an optional Ai-NET/
RCA Interface cable (KCA-121B) or Versatile Link Terminal (KCA-
410C) to this component.
You can change the AUX name display when AUX ON is set. Select
the AUX name by pressing g or f. Then press BAND.
If the KCA-410C is connected, it is possible to select two AUX
names.
• Via KCA-410C, up to 2 external devices with RCA output can be
connected. In this case, press SOURCE/POWER to select AUX
mode and then press BAND to select your desired device.

RCA Home Theater model RTD315W

  • You need to change your audio settings in your TVs audio menu. Sounds like it is set to play only external source when connected, There will be a setting for all speakers to play, including TV's. Have your TV's volume up just a hair when changing your settings and you will be able to hear when it changes to what you want.

Can't play AUX inputs through Panasonic surround sound

Check the TV audio output setting. There may be 3 settings for audio output. Fixed/variable/none. Try all of the settings, and see if you get your audio back. If not, try a different cable between the TV and DVD player. I suspect this is a red/white RCA audio cable.

AUX to normal channels!

Have you done a hard reset? (Unplug the tv for a couple of hours, then power it up again).
