Please click here to download the drivers for you printer please select your operating system and follow the screen setup.

im gonna guess off the top of my head that you have a antivirus/firewall on.

this ushally prevents software to be installed expessually when you get a error on the install.

please uninstall then software then reinstall the software without the firewall or antivirus activated. here is what you need to do.

Start--->Run--->type: msconfig---->in the general go to diagnostic startup---->accept, close and reboot

Install the software it should install now.

Then reboot

then goto

Start--->Run--->msconfig---->in the general options to to normal startup--->accept, close and reboot

Error message 1324. The path My Pictures contains an invalid character. Version 2.5.2.36 Can I remove? Can I update so my Quickbooks program can update? Need help please!

There are 3 possible reasons why you are getting this error message:

1. An invalid character in QuickBooks installation path.
2. An incorrect path setting in the Windows registry.
3.Insufficient hard drive space available to install the QuickBooks program.

To fix this problem, please do the following:
  1. Restart your computer, and reinstall QuickBooks.
  2. Confirm that at least 2.5 GB of disk space is available for installing QuickBooks (Quickbooks 2010 requires 1.5GB of disk space):
    1. Double-click the Computer (for Windows 7 or Vista) or My Computer (for Windows XP) icon on your Windows desktop.
    2. Note the amount of free space shown in the window next to the drive letter where QuickBooks is being installed:
      • If the amount of free space is less than 1 GB, free up disk space before installing QuickBooks or install QuickBooks on a different drive.
      • If the amount of free space is greater than 1 GB, proceed with step 2.
  3. Remove invalid characters from the QuickBooks installation path:
    1. Right-click the Windows Start button and select Explore.
    2. Navigate to the path shown in the error:
      • If there are non-alphanumeric characters in the name of any folder in the installation path, right-click the folder and select Rename to remove them, and then reinstall QuickBooks.
      • If there are only alphanumeric characters in the installation path, proceed with step 3.
  4. Create a new user in Windows to rewrite any Windows registry settings that may be causing the error and log in as that user to install QuickBooks.
Note: You must be logged in as a Windows administrator or as a member of the Administrator group to add a new user.
If this solution does not resolve the issue, you can read discussions and post messages and questions relating to your issue on the Intuit QuickBooks Community site for free, or you can contact a technical support agent for additional guidance. Fees may apply.

I am trying to unistall elibrary software and i am getting an error message 1324 the path sony reader contains an invalid character

Hi!

You can try to manually remove the software and reinstall, BTW there is no operation system detailed. But here's a solution for windows XP, Vista and 7

Windows XP:
Open My Computer .
In the My Computer window, go to the following path
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\
Delete the folder called "kinoma"

Then go to the following path:

C:\Documents and Settings\"your user name"\Local Settings\Application Data \
Delete the folder called "kinoma"
Delete the "Sony Corporation" folder

Windows Vista® and Windows® 7 operating system operating systems:

Open Computer on your Desktop

Go to the following path:

C:\ProgramData\
Delete the folder called "kinoma"

Now go to this path:
C:\Users\"your username"\AppData folder\Local\
Delete the folder called "kinoma"
Delete the folder called "Sony Corporation"

GoodLuck!

When the HP C4385 printer driver is loading on my computer it stops and I get the following error message: C:Documen1admin~1local~1 empzs07casetuphpzshl.ice_suffix..exe There is more to the error code but...

This error message has something to do with the driver installation. Meaning that the installation cannot be completed because the driver could be corrupted.

If you get this error while trying to install the CD (driver) that came with the printer, try downloading and installing the driver from the Web site.

Please check the link below, type the code and click on download:

http://www.opendrivers.com/freedownload/282015/hp-photosmart-c4385-all-in-one-basic-driver-10.0.0-windows-2000-xp%28x32-x64%29-vista%28x32-x64%29-download.html

NOTE: Make sure that there's no current printer driver installed before installing a new driver.

Hope this driver works for you!

HP K8600 Intallation Fatal Error

Ok... this one sounds a bit backwards, but have solved other issues like this:

Try uninstalling the HP software itself, and put the installation disk aside... power down your computer, plug in the printer, and reboot. Allow windows to discover the "new hardware" and INSTEAD of using the installation disk, have Vista locate the best driver (online if you can do it). Once you can get the printer to print with basic function, create a restore point in System restore (so you won't have to go through the initial driver install again if a crash occurs later), and THEN try and install the components you want from the installation disk. Again, it sounds backwards, but many manufacturers have had significant issues with Vista for stranger things. You may not even want all the "extras" HP includes with it's software (like online ink purchasing, photo editing, etc) but at least you can get the printer functioning!

Hope this helps!

I get error 1324 , path contain invalid character

It may be that one of your "special" folders has an invalid character in the path, such as \. You can reset your folders to there defaults. Go here http://windowsxp.mvps.org/usershellfolders.htm
Use caution when modifiing the registry.
