The simple solution is to use windows media player to add and remove songs to this device. Media player is setup to convert the songs if need be so that this device can play them.
Use the supplied Sansa Media Converter program to convert and transfer videos. If you don't have the SMC, you can download the Windows version from http://www.megaupload.com/?d=3IPZO6Q0
photos and video must go through conversion with bundled software; the expansion slot can be used with music only.make sure you convert your video first.
You must use the Sansa Media Converter to transfer videos. If the video is DRM-protected (many of Real's movies are), it may not actually convert. But if the video is DRM-free, then the Sansa Media Converter will perform the conversion and load the video onto the player. The Sansa Media Converter may or may not recognize the Real file format, so you may need to download an additional program such as Riva FLV Encoder to convert the Real video to AVI format first - then the Sansa Media Converter will recognize the file.
I use windows media player and it sincs with the player. turn ur player on FIRST; then connect the usb cord. you use the sinc function in the media player software and it should work ok.
