If you connect your player to the PC and select your device in Windows Explorer you should find a "Voice" folder that contains your recordings. The files are named as voicexxx.wav and you can simply copy and paste them to the PC.
If you have problem with this and want to get additional help please define the exact type of your player because almost all the types of gogear are SAxx .
Thanks

I have a RCA VR5320R digital voice recorder. My voice recordings are stored on the recorder, under folder "A," but when I attach the recorder to my computer, eventhough the device shows up under...

Your best bet is to play the recordings through the headphone connector to a pc audio line-in connector and capture the audio using something like Audacity. Then output them using audacity to mp3 to play on your mp3 player.

These units are notorious for their failing USB feature.

How do you get the voice recorder to work on the go gear vibe? Do I need a little microphone to record messages?

From the manual...

This is how you can record audio/voices with the built-in microphone (see section Overview for location of built-in microphone):

1 From the main menu, select to enter recordings mode.

2 Select [Start voice recording].
• Press to toggle between pause and record.

3 Press to stop.
»» The screen prompts you to save the recording.

4 Press / to select [Yes] / [No].

5 Press to save the recording.
»» Recordings are saved on the player.
(Filename format: VOICEXXX.MP3, where XXX is the recording number that is generated automatically.)

Tip
•• You can find your recordings under [Recordings library] > [Voice].

Transfering a stored PC recording

The recordings simply reside on your pc, but not in the "Digital Wave Player" software. The software is merely there to let you play the recordings, probably because they are not in a native Windows format.

If the recordings are "Wave, .wav" files as suggested by the software, then simply locate the files you want to put on disc... I am guessing you want to burn on cd.

Then, use a burning program such as Nero to add these files and burn to disc.

If you don't have Nero, then you would need to figure out what type of burning software your machine has installed and go from there.

Go gear will not operate in recording mode

The Go Gear SA52XX series is only capable of recording FM in Europe - the US versions, even though they have the same manual, will not allow FM Recording. I haven't heard that won't do voice recordings, but it doesn't surprise me - update the firmware - the directions are on Philips website. If it still won't record voice recordings, get a different mp3 player, because this is not the one.

The Philips SA6045, SA5125, and a few others will do FM and voice recordings. Ironically, the newer Philips GoGear's will not.

IHP120 20gb multicodecjukebox-voice recording

Sir,
I solved the problem .Actually under the SOURCE title it was under the LINE IN.There were some more options like INT.MIKE, EXT.MIKE, OPTICAL. So i first tried under external mike by connecting to the EXT.mike and selected the source and by removing the external mike switched to Int. mike and changed the source. It automatically picked according to the source and played the recording and saved it in the file and later heard the lecture with the head phone and later converted in to a file in the laptop. Now it is working nicely. A really a good product to make use and it is very much user friendly.
Thanks again.

I need 2 know how 2 uninstall info from my mp-4001 moV.ox centon

Do this procedure for "voice" mode to delete voice recordings:

Delete file (stop submenu) - Delete corresponding files and save files in Music mode, Voice mode or FM mode.
1. In stop interface (FM without stop interface)
2. Short press "MODE" to enter stop submenu
3. Click "NEXT" or "PREV" to choose "single" or "all" files
4. Short press "MODE" to enter the Delete interface
5. Click "NEXT" to change "no" into "yes"
6. Short press MODE to confirm the delete prompt
"Delete all" will delete all related files stored in the selected folder. For example, if in music mode "Delete all" will delete all the music files, while other recorded files (e.g. voice recordings or FM recordings) will not be deleted.
Likewise, if "Delete all" is used when in the "Replay" menu, this will delete all recorded files but leave music files intact.
FM is much simpler – "Delete" or "Delete all" will delete the station(s) saved before.
