Where is is and i heard it a top in frount but how do i open it Media Card Reader

I have an XL-6000; I do have SewWare 1.0 and blank Smart Media cards, which are easy and inexpensive to buy, as well as a Smart Reader. I had heard that those converter boxes were temperamental, and they're not available any more anyway. However, there is a quite easy and inexpensive way to get your designs to your machine. Simply purchase Smart Cards (used for cameras, by the way) an inexpensive reader, and SewWhat-Pro (do a Google search) to write to the card. Your Singer needs a specific format written to the card, so just copying to the card won't work; however, SWP allows you to open the design, and then in Tools --> Media Writer, allows you to specify your reader AND the format you need for your machine, including Singer. It's also an excellent editing program, AND you can try it and all its features free for 30 days to decide for yourself. No, I don't work for them, but I'm a great fan.

Depending on the case you may need to slide the case forward to open it... once in find the ribbon that goes from the card reader to the main board of the computer and disconnect it there. make note of where it goes so you can connect it again after. taking a image with your phone can help here.

Media Card Reader is optional for Dell Inspirion 530s.
You can check for its availability by opening the Flexbay panel by pressing the button.
Here is a picture where you may check the position of Media Card Reader. SDCard Reader slot is usually under number 1.

Plug your SD card into an SD card reader...the plug the card reader into the computer.
The computer will recognize the card reader and open a window...you will select "see files"...
Highlight the songs and put them in Windows media Player...plug your mp3 player in while the computer is running and Media player is running...Media player will recognize your mp3 player
Highlight your songs in the SD card reader...drag and drop the files to Media player...

Try installing the device using Vista drivers, You need to use compactibility mode to get it to work though or :

1) Disconnected Media Card Reader and reconnected it. I wanted Windows to automatically detect the hardware change. Details of the first step:
a) Turned off Windows.
b) Disconnected Media Card Reader.
c) Turned on Windows.
d) Turned off Windows.
e) Connected Media Card Reader.
f) Turned on Windows.
2) Disabled and re-enabled the controllers.
a) Opened Device Manager.
b) Expanded IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers.
c) Uninstalled each item one by one.
d) Restarted the computer.
3) After the computer started, Windows reinstalled all the controllers

well i heard on another website - that because the memory card can hold alot of memory, the computer doesnt accept it, so you need to use a usb memory card reader, ebay sells it for like £1
