We also facing same problem.
We have a option for "No Print receipts", When we enable this option cash drawer will open after payment but it should not print. But printer spits out small piece of paper every time when payment is completed.

The cash drawer is loking for a signal from the printer to fire the drawer. It is usually on one of the pins of the cable comming from the printer. You will probably have to contact the cash drawer manufacture for that information.

What version of RPE are you using and what model receipt printer? Version 11.5 with an Epson thermal receipt printer usually requires a special logo designed for that model printer. Not just any jpg or gif graphics file. Epson will create file for you, but it is pricey, around $200 last I checked. I'm not sure if the latest version 12 has a better fix for this or not. And you are right, there is no print preview on receipt printing. Contact me if you need tech help. [email protected]

As far as I know, there is no way to change the font settings in CRE (I hope you mean RPE). But, you may be able to change the default settings in the printer itself to get larger print. I am available for tech help if you need it, but you should have 3 months free support from PCAmerica with the purchase. I also do custom menu support for RPE. [email protected]

This sounds like its a problem with your EPOS software rather than the printer - contact your EPOS provider.
