Only suggestion I have is to try these old reset solution that work on some older lg washers: unplugg and wait 5 minutes or so, or unplug an d hold power button for 15 seconds, or unplug and the plug back in holding power button down for about 15 seconds then release. Good luck. (LG makes great products but their customer service and repair are horrible).
You have some bacteria build up on the inside of your tubing of the tub. Try some cleaning solutions per directions on the bottle of tub cleaner made specifically for this situation. Cleaning Solutions
If child lock has been activated, all buttons on the control panel except for the power button will be inoperable. Child lock is usually activated by pressing either the [pre-wash] or [tub clean] button for 3 seconds. To deactivate the child lock function, press and hold the same key again for 3 seconds. Try switching the machine off by pressing the on/off button. Press the same button after a few seconds to restart the machine.
