Place a towel on the seat and sit on it. After it is dry you can spray it with armorall to finish cleaning it.

No power after washing

Did you wash it with the seat off? Sounds like you got the relay wet, or fusebox wet.... take the seat off, let the bike set in the sun for a couple of hours....hopefully whatever you got wet will dry out and the bike will start.

Soaked iphone 3gs

There are products that you can buy to help dry the phone, like a bag of silica gel. I like using the free way, which is using a bag of dried rice. Whataver you do, do not attempt to turn on the phone, that will definitely ruin it, if the components are still wet inside.
  1. Take a bag of uncooked rice, and submerge the phone in the dry rice for at least 3 days. Keep the bag in a cool and dry place.
  2. After three days, if there is any indication that the phone is still wet, return the phone to the bag and wait another day.
  3. Once you believe the phone is dry (max 4 days) remove the phone from the rice, and attempt to turn it on.

You need to try Silica Gel Packets to dry out your phone. There was a good article on associatedcontent.com that explains how to dry a wet cell phone, iPods, or any electronics.

You need to place your cell phone in a zip lock bag with Silica Gel Packets. Silica Gel will remove all the moisture from the phone and its components, something air drying will not do!

Just Google "Silica Gel Packets" and you will find several companies selling these products. There is also a web site called: http://www.SilicaGelPackets.com that has them.

I got my phone wet and now it wont read the sim card

Unfortunately; your warrantee is also voided by the wet. Try finding something to dry it out. I dried mine out using a hearing aid drying device. Putting it in a sealable plastic baggie with any dehydrating agent would do the same thing in a day or so.

Do you have one of those tiny batteries in there? The ones that lay flat, gel pack,? Did you put the gel in it? Did you charge it up overnight when it was first filled and sealed? I have the same problem, weak battery, same battery, 2002 S4, Even when the battery was new, it was sluggish. My bike sat all winter, soaking wet, never touched it, when I went out to start it, I put the charger on it and it fired right up. Everybody else had to go to the shop to get the carbs cleaned and the batteries replaced. Anyway, check the voltage, it should be 12.6 volts anytime. In a week it will run down, it is a static system. If it doesn't hold a charge, replace it. Or do what I do, charge the thing up every time. A battery tender will do the job. Hope this helps.
