Fitted a new pump to caravan; since fitting new pump cuts in for a few seconds and then off again on a regular basis when all taps are off, the pump that was removed was 7 litres/min new one 10litres/min nothing else was changed, the only way to stop pump cutting in is to turn power off, have you any suggestions as to a remedy, the reason for larger capacity pump it was the only one available at the time, old pump was leaking that was reason for replacment.

Make sure you have all the air out off the water lines that is about the only thing from your post that it could be.

My pump cuts on, runs with good pressure for approx. 3-5 seconds and then cuts off. After a 30 second delay it will cut on again and repeat over and over. System will not sustain pressure and there does...

Is there a non-return valve fitted on the pump system? Some pumps have these fitted into the housing . If there is not one fitted you may want to try that as it sounds like water could be flowing back down your system.
Otherwise it sounds like a switch problem. Take the casing off the switch and check that it's not full of ants. This is fairly common esecially in wet weather.
The switch settings and tank pressure sounds fine.

I have a 97 s-10 and it will run for a few seconds and it will die. When u prime it then it will run and die. Not sure where to start could u help

Well, You said S-10, but the problem somehow got filed under 1997 Dodge Caravan. Don't know how this happened. Anyway, your engine is obviously not getting any fuel. The most likely suspect would be the fuel pump. It is located inside the fuel tank and you must remove the fuel tank from the vehicle to replace it. If this is an S-10 pickup, I have found it much easier most of the time to remove the bolts from the bed, disconnect the lighting harness from the bed and possibly the crank tube for the spare tire carrier, then lift the bed up and slide it back to get access to the fuel pump. Most of the time, the fuel lines on these vehicles are badly corroded and nearly impossible to get them loose. I usually by a complete pump and hanger assembly instead of just the pump. (Trust me, it will be well worth the extra cost) That way, you can just cut the tubes off of the hanger assembly as near as possible to the fitting, Then you can use a socket on the fitting to break it loose from the fuel hoses.

Heater hose connection that fits into rear of intake manifold "disintegrated" leaving parts of it behind. How do I get it out without removing the manifold? Truck is a 1993 GMC Sierra 1500 5.7 engine...

I see this problem fairly often and you can get the fitting out but you need a bit of patience to do so. I remove probably 6 of these a year and how I get it out is to take a new, very sharp, hacksaw blade [just by itself] and very carefully using the blade by hand cut a 2 or 3 equally spaced vertical grooves through the fitting. The fitting is a fairly soft pewter like metal and cuts fairly easily just the same you want to just cut through the fitting until you are just up to the threads in the intake and not beyond. Once you have these grooves cut you can take a very sharp pointed chisel or center punch and with a small hammer you can catch the edge of the fitting and and tap & peel it away from the manifold piece by piece to remove it. I've tried several specially made "easy outs" to remove these but the problem is that the fitting is stuck so hard to the intake that it just will never turn out again. I replace these failure prone fittings with a simple hose barb type brass or steel fitting and then replace the heater hose with a new piece of plain hose. A really tough broken fitting may take me a half our or so to remove but expect to spend a couple of hours on your first one. Good luck!

Fuel starving at cruising speed 100kmph

it sounds like you guessed right, the fuel tap is not correct for that bike,i had one in then shop the other day and it is two pipes coming off the fuel tap 1 to each pair of carbs,by changing to a single pipe of the same diameter you are effectively cutting your fuel supply in half and every "t" fitting that goes in the line restricts it further...go back to the standard tap fitting and get rid of all the "t" fittings and your problem should go away

Smell of burning in my daewoo microwave oven. It has never been used before

Daewoo make some cheap microwave ovens. I have one, and it is rubbish. It came fitted in a new caravan, and because it decided to keep cutting out after only a few minutes of use, it was replaced by another that had the same problem. I know it's a cheap oven, but it should work. I wouldn't recommend this to any caravanners, and would recommend a different make.

The smell should go when the Daewoo goes!!

Engine skips, won't go over 55 mph. Works fine below that.

Hi ..... Go through the above list, pay particular attention to fuel delivery ie blocked breather in tank, any filter fitted to tap or change in line filter if fitted. Easy to check, take off fuel delivery to carb (place container to catch fuel), start bike and fuel should come out a strong contant flow.
Let us know how you get on.

Renault Laguna 2.2 diesel cutting out and difficulty starting

for this heap of doogy doo their is only one solution without spending lots of cash and that is apart from burning it ,is to fit a in-line fuel pump with a relay these cars a renouwn for playing up like this .dealer sees you coming and yes you will lay the golden egg ...regardless trust me.fit a in-line pump in the fuel line to maintain pressure if this doesnt work then its not the fuel /injector pump as they will have you beleave and charge accordingly to remove and send to diesel overhaul shop or just fit a new one but it will be the ECU management system which is over a thousand euros and you cant fit it yourself as it has to be programmed and its encrypted software dealer only.Dealer wont tell you this untill they have changed everything eles at a cost of up too 1000 euros then say its a specialist renault problem and the car is then moved to another garage for a second opinion then the renault rep has to look then the answer is the ECU ,trust me on this one been their and have the teashirt for a customer and yes its a true story.
