Try disconnecting the power. If you've removed and checked your color cartridge and it looks fine, the problem is most likely a defective cartridge. Cartridges can be defective right out of the box, or they can fail if they haven't been used for a while. Replacing the color cartridge should solve your problem.

Blue Color On Copies

Check your settings for copying through your printer software.You might have accidentally messed up some copy settings there (Contrast, etc.)

Rollers do not have anything to do with this because your regular prints and copy prints are fed through the same roller.

Try removing your printer from Device Manager. Completely remove your printer software and reinstall all this stuff like you're installing a brand new printer. There is a 90% chance that your printer will be find after this.

hi,

This problem may also be due to cartidge holder .
clean cartrideg holder with moist cotton with petrol or some other cleaning liquid as nail polish remover. clean properly the cartirdge socket and mainly the contact point of cartridge socket

Office Jet K60xi Scanner Failure

If your sacnner still fails to function, uninstall everything for the Officejet through add/remove in control panel. (Power off printer before uninstalling).
Go to Hp's web site. http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/en/welcome.html#Support
Step 1. Click, Download drivers and software (and firmware).
Go to step 2. For product, type in Officejet k60xi .
Power on your printer. (Wait for printer to fully power on).
Click, Start Detection>> button.
Allow HP to scan your system & install the latest software.
Follow the on scren instructions. (When finished, restart your PC). Test your scanner by scanning something.
If your scanner still fails to scan, you may be missing basic HP files loaceted in windows system & windows system32 folders.
(These missing files were not installed during your install of windows). Not your fault.
