Question about Microwave Ovens
Light go on. Turn-table goes around fine. Everything seems to work. Sound might be slightly louder, but not sure. Only by a little bit if any louder.
Model JVM1642WB002, GE Space Saver. Let me know if this sound like an easy fix with buying some parts. Don't want to spend a lot of time trouble shooting. Manufactured in 1999
With the symptoms you have, I would most strongly suspect a shorted high voltage rectifier diode or a bad magnetron.
The diode is a fairly cheap fix, and the mag will cost more.
