I have a windows xp home edition that i am setting in my computer but in the section where in asking me for the product key i am entering it and is not acepting it, what should i do next?

Didyou purchase the software?If the product is on another computer belonging to someone else, you cannot install it with their key#. If you did purchase it and you are installing a new copy, then make ure you are putting in the product key correctly(caps, lowercase, etc.).If it still does not work, get in touch with microsoft and give them the details. There is a support phone number on their site. www.microsoft.com/support
