There is a two reason for this 1. Ram may be loose. remove the ram cover on the bottom side of Laptop and remove ram and fixed it again properly 2. there may be more gap between power button and switch. so you have to open the laptop top.remove the top cover with LCD display. it good remove key board first and unplug all wires and cables
after disassemble apply some gum tape on the switch to reduce space between button and switch.

None of the buttons will work untill the power is turned on and no sound will be heard.
You might want to try charging the battery by connecting the AC adapter to the laptop and plugging it into the wall outlet.
With the AC adapter connected, try powering up the laptop.
