Charging I took it out of the box and plugged both the headset and the adaptor for non-blue tooth units (GN1110) in for charging. Got a Blue flash from the headset and about 3 seconds of red light from the gn1110. Sat charging for 3 hours and now no power up, nothing. What can I do to get this new unit working?

Replace battery in headset. Is ni-cad and is dead.

Hi, Ephraim. The flashing red light indicates that the device is showing "low battery". It could be that the LG phone charger fits the charging port on your bluetooth headset but it is not compatible with your device. In order for you to know that it is charging, the device should show a steady red light(means charging).

bluetooth - charging mashine problem bring it to recheck the charger

Indicator lights: Blue Light Flashing.

TheBlue light flashing indicates that your headset is working normally. There is no way to turn it off without turning off your headset.

Headset Status Headset Indicator Light

Powering on: Blue light flashes.

Powering off: Red appears and goes off.

Charging battery: Red solid light.

Low battery Red flashes.

Pairing mode: Blue/red flashes for 120 seconds.

Missed call: Purple flashes. Double press the call control button to cancel.

Ringing: Purple flashes. Briefly press call control button to answer the call. Press call control button for 2 seconds to reject the call.

On The Blue Tooth You Have To Hold The On Off Till The Light Flash's Blue Red Over And Over Then Search For It On Your Phone.
Once You Find It It Will Be Recognized For Now On. Just Hit The Button On The Blue Tooth One More Time To Stop The Sync Mode.

flashing purple after you hold it for 3 seconds is discovery mode. blue flashing is active on. hold for 6 seconds to turn off. hold for 2 seconds to turn on.

Pardon me if you have already tried this but with my em236c I had to hold the Answer/End button for about 15 sec before it flashed red/blue. The manual doesn't say how long to hold it. It took a couple of tries for me. Hope this helps.

My phone did this one time, i dont really remember how i got it fixed. If you havent already, take the battery out and wipe it off and the prongs that the battery goes in to. If problem is still there, you might need a new battery.
