My Hyundai Accent 2001 auto. engine sound is like tik tik tik how to fix it

First check your oil. Hyndais also tic tic tic from the top of the motor but it is the noise of the fuel system. If you let it go dry on oil at one time you may now have bad lifters.

Wheel noise turntable

Without knowing more about your turntable, the only thing, other than a bent platter, would be a loose or worn out spindle bearing. For more information, please visit my website at audioserviceclinic.com. Thank you.

Describe your SimpleTech SimpleDrive   STI-USB235/160 160 GB Hard Drive Problem It fell once and now it no longer reads or recognizes to the computer. It also makes a terrible noise, like a...

Unfortunately, I think you're toast! Depending on how much you need/want those photos, you might be limited to relying on an expensive 3rd party data recovery process. The noise indicates that the read/write head is scratching along the surface of the disc platter. Even if you could install a new read/write head, the physical damage to the disc platter may prevent any data recovery anyway. Check around on the Net and in your local area for data recovery services. They might be able to provide a better diagnosis of the problem, and possibly suggest a quote if they think they could recover any data for you.

Turntable does not rotate, help!!

Put your ear to the turntable platter in the on mode. If you can hear a motor spinning sound and no rotation you have a slipped or broken belt.
Remove the rubber matt from top of the turntable platter and now while slowly rotating the platter look through cut out in the metal, at one point you will see a motor spindle and a belt. Feel the tension of the belt , it should be wrapped tight round the pulley. bobhifi_13.jpg

I'm having two problems with this unit , a SONY CDP-CE375 5-CD Changer, which I bought several years ago. The first problem: Occasionally, the CD doesn't seem to be seated properly when I close the platter...

Granted, they don't actually SAY you should carefully place the discs into the detents designed for them on page 7, but that is the expectation.

As for audio hum,

Buzzing is usally AC line noise leaking into an un-shielded cable somewhere or a floating ground. If the AC plug is reversible, try that. Sometimes the buzz is from an attached device. Make sure all audio cables are plugged in tightly at each end and routed away from or at right angles to any power cords and away from other sources of strong magnetic fields like TV's. I've also seen variable track lights induce noise but it's usually minor.

Consider the presence of light dimmers, too. Mine induce buzz when the lights are on.

Dvd do not loads

Our started doing the same thing about a week after the warranty ran out. It has to do with the alignment of the discs being loaded. here's a work-around that works for us:
Open the tray
Choose which disc you are going to watch and use the Change Disc button to push the selected disc to the back (ie, if you want to view Disc 1, discs 3 and 4 will be visible in the tray).
Look down the center holes of discs 3 and 4... manually move your tray left-or-right to align the holes with the tray.
Push the Direct Play button on the top right of the unit for your disc of choice (Disc 1 using the example above).

hope that helps... I've searched for a while and played around with the unit (with and without the cover on) trying to figure out a way to re-align the tray, but no luck.

Getting errors reading the first (data) track on mixed-mode CD, what can i do? get error message "TABLE ERROR"

The CD Player platter does not spin or displays Table Error.
Follow this procedure when the platter of a CD Changer does not spin or displays Table Error.
  1. Open the door to the unit.
  2. Press the center button in the Jog Dial, and attempt to remove all the CD's in the unit. NOTES:
    • Verify that all the discs that were installed in the unit are removed. If all the discs do not come out, the unit will need service.
    • If the player is not operating correctly, reinstalling CDs may damage the CDs.

  3. Attempt to rotate the platter with all discs removed. If the platter rotates, install a few discs to verify operation.
  4. If the platter does not spin when the unit is empty, service will be required.
Also are you getting any other specific error codes, if so, please let me know what they are.

Please get back to me and let me know any other specifics.
Please don't forget to rate this. Thank you!
