Nikon Coolpix s210 drivers

Hi I just purchased nikon coolpix s210 but drivers only for windows xp and vista. I have windows 2000 professional please provide me drivers for windows 2000 professional

    Attempting install of Nikon Coolpix S210 in Windows 2000 Professional results in nominal software installation, however systems fails to identify camera upon camera USB connection. Hardware Device Mgr shows camera installed but "not operating". Nikon Transfer program installed OK. Camera and software installed and work fine under Windows XP (SP-2). o joy (yet) w/ Windows 2000.
    Any ideas?

    I have same Problem, and feel it's that windows hardware lockout in vista they killed all the drivers for older versions

if the support guy toldy to by a reader i'm sure it's because that was the only solution. more than like ly the driver is obsolete and no longer available. i'm sure that this is not what you wanted to hear but unfortunately when it comes to new electronics versus older computer. there is always 1 or 2 problems that can't be overcome the conventional way. in general terms windows is always updating security patchs or registry fixes and they don't always include alot of the drivers from prior hardware. card readers are not that expensive anymore and probably will save you money and frustration in the long run. hope this helps. please rate this solution and good luck.

    Coolpix 4300 needs driver & update for vista

    You can download PictureProject software from this address: http://chsv-soft.nikon-image.com/jpn/software/win/S-P2____-175WU-JPNJP.exe

    That is the only Nikon software that supports Vista since your camera is "outdated".

    Here is a quote from Nikon site:


    • We had released a Windows Vista-compatible version of PictureProject, v1.7.5, for use with the models listed below, and all models that followed. PTP (models supporting the PTP protocol) and Mass storage USB transfer options can be used for camera connection.
