Navman postcodes Hi i cannot seem to get all of the postcode to load on it will take the first few digits then after that it will not work i have been on the website and cannot find any help

go there, please note you will need to insert the original cd that came with the navman to update it

You cant its no longer supported by navman.

Where did you buy it and what addresses are you looking for? UK addresses? If you bought your device outside UK but you are looking for a UK address you will only get partial postcode search (5 digits). give Mio a call (0871 277 0139), they should be able to help you with this

I had this problem after updating the maps and eventually called mio who gave me an activation code which has solved the porblem.

This Sat Nav system is a total let down! I could not use it to navigate in Bournemouth city centre, it kept on telling me to turn in to one way streets going opposite traffic and could not even take me to Luton airport (so basic!) neither LU2 9LY nor LU2 9QT postcodes were recognised by system giving error: NO MATCHING POSTCODES
Even after full software update the device was clueless what to do with many basic post codes. I may as well bin this and buy a well-known brand instead!!

then they are not in the software that is currentkly loaded into the GPS, suggest u update to the latest version from Tomtom.

Go to tomtom official website (tomtom.com) go to support, select product, and type in "postcode search", click on the question "Full digit postcode not working in the UK or The Netherlands" and there's you answer - download the zip file to your pc and follow instructions. Have just tried it and it works !
