There is a max fill line mark on the side of the water tank. Fill the water to there or less. Do not fill the water any higher than this line or water will spill out the side where the water inlet hoses run. Also make sure that the tank is not cracked and leaking water.

What is wrong with my silvia? No coffee or water, but steam ok. Loud burring noise

Hi There,
Your coffee group is blocked, with lime or coffee oils.

Try descaling 1st Pulycaf coffee machine descaler . You will find descaler and cleaner in this rancilio silvia kit. Rancilio Silvia gasket kit . Descaling should be done every 3 months or so.

If the descaler does not work - you may have to remove the solenoid valve and descale that - not an easy fix. Takes 20 min.

Hello. my rancilio silvia which i purchased new seems to have stopped working. I flipped the main power switch on so it would warm up the water. I then tried to run the water and then the steam and it...

It is possible that the element burnt out, but before that happened, the thermostat should have turned it off. Remove the top screws and look for signs of damage/burning wires, if none then fill tank check all thermostats to make sure they did not trip and turn machine on.

My Rancilio miss Silvia coffee machine is not heating water any more. Which part should be replaced? Thank you

Could be a switch, a themostat, a wire connection, or the boiler element. Someone with a volt-ohm meter will have to help you.

Once you figure it out, you can get the parts here
