I have a Rolex AD Daytona Winner 24 1992, I looked on the official webcite and face on my watch has diamonds marking all hrs. except for the quarter hrs also it has month,day and hr. dials. The serial no came up as 16520 for daytona but the face I found under 16509. Is this watch a fake?

go google and type in-- genuine rolex watch serial numbers -- search all the sites and check your numbers

Sorry but you are not winner. I see that particular counterfeit a few times every year. Its got a little checked flag behind where it says that and the sticker is green. Maybe next time you will win a real but not today.

A feature of Rolex watches is a solid caseback. The only time an engraving is placed on any Rolex watch casebacks is as an aftermarket feature (i.e "Tom, I love you, Sue").

The "Winner Daytona 24" engraving on the back is, i'm afraid, a common feature of a replica Rolex watch.

there are some very very good fakes out there. the only way to officially find out is to find a rolex dealer. he will authenticate it and provide you with a certificate ( at a cost of coarse ) just visit rolex.com and find your nearest dealer. hope this helps and good luck

This is very difficult to say if your watch is genuine or fake just by the numbers given, but if you will pop in to any decent watch repair shop, they will be able to tell you within a matter of few minutes.
