Water still in bottom of tub after drain/spin cycle

I removed the drain hose from the bottom left rear corner of the washer & cleaned a large amount of gooey sludge from the bottom of the drain inside the washing machine.

LG Tromm WM0642HW washer leaking water!

I have the same problem - just a small amount of water leaking out from under the machine. I removed the top cover and found one of the water lines rubs on the vent tube and has wore completely through. Should be an easy fix, as the line runs from the #2 spigot on the water inlet to the detergent box - both connections are right on top.

Water level adjustment

You don't. Front load washers use only a very small amount of water. They fill a small amount, tumble a bit, resulting in water being absorbed into the clothes, which drops the water level in the tub. The washer senses this and adds more water, which repeats until water level stabilizes. The only way to get more water on wash cycles is to use delicate cycles, which use more water, resulting in a more gentle wash action. Remember that due to the low water consumption of front load washers, you should only use one tablespoon of HE detergent per cycle. (even less if you use 2x or 3x concentrate.) This is a FixYa solution. Your washer is working as designed.

Leaking water durign spin cycle

you have to de-clogged the drain outlet pipe. it could be clogged already that is why when it is draining, the pipe can not handle the amount of water coming out of the machine and it leaks out of the pipe or from the hose on the wall where the drain pipe is.

Water level

The level of water in the drum is controlled by a pressure switch. This switch is attatched to the drum via an air tube which pushes air into the pressure switch as the machine fills with water. There could be a blockage in the pressure chamber attatched to the drum or the pressure switch is faulty.
