Turn your amp off, unplug the phono connectors and reseat them, then remove the headshell and do the same. While you have the headshell off, examine the 4 little wires for crimps and breaks.

My Dual CS 430 turntable suddenly stopped playing - rest of equipment (radio, CD player, tape deck) okay. Can you help, please?

Amplifiers always take the sound of the turntable via a separate pre-amp from all other systems, such as radio and CD players. This pre-amp can go faulty killing the sound from the turntable only. If the turntable goes through the actions of playing the record, then this is the cause of your trouble.

hi,
Here is the wiring of the turntable RCA plug ( RCA wire will have 4 connections like red and its outer wire then White and its outer wire.). connect these as follows.

For right channel

Red wire from the turntable to the red center wire of the RCA plug

Green wire from the turntable to the outer wire with red wire of the RCA plug

For left channel

White wire from the turntable to the white center wire of the RCA plug

Blue wire from the turntable to the outer wire with White wire of the RCA plug
OK

Technics 1210's playing out of one speaker / channel

Have you considered the amp to be the problem? The amp has a magnetic cartridge pre-amp, which only the turntables would use, that can fail. It's often a single IC that has gone.

Record only plays through one speaker

If it works on Channel One it is NOT the TT. It's a mixer problem. Define the mixer and what else works or doen't work. have you tried another device on Channel 2?

DDr or Dual Channel Ddr

From the manual:

2 x 184 pin DDR DIMM Sockets support up to maximum 2 GB unbuffered PC 2700/2100/1600 non-ECC DDR SDRAM memory.

So, to answer your question, for your particular motherboard, no. However, to dispute the other poster, Dual channel is better than regular DDR. It's just your motherboard does not support it.

CD reader sounds like it's stuck. You might have some debris inside, or the reader might need to be replaced. Not an easy fix, and I would suggest contacting a service center for assistance.
