Question about Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-F707 Digital Camera
I bought a 4 GB memory stick Pro Duo and when I insert it in the slot it give me "Memory Stick Error C:13:01".
Can't use Memory Stick PRO's on the DSC 707, they won't format. The technology of the PRO's postdates the 707's.

Try one of the following methods
1- While the memory card is in the camera, shake the camera and try and take a picture
2- Format the memory card in a pc or laptop (a sony vaio if u have one)
3- Insert the memory card like 10 - 20 times rapidly in-out
4- Format the memory card while inside the camera (option to format card is in the menu)
Hope this helps

If you really have a F707, it won't work with anything over 128MB according to this chart.

In DSCT1 Camera, the C:13:01 error message indicates a Self diagnostic message. Each of these codes indicates the symptoms and resolutions of the Camera. In C:13:01, the issue is with the Memory Stick being used in the Camera.
The Symptoms are:
Memory Stick Pro Duo 4GB is not compatible with the DSCF707 Camera. Maximum capacity supported by the Camera is up to 128MB. Please try using a MS with 128 MB and check if it works. A dedicated adapter (MSAC-M2) must be attached to use Memory Stick Duo or MagicGate Memory Stick Duo media.
