Mouldy very smelly rubber seal around the door of machine. Normally only use 40 degree or lower washes have tried washing at 90degrees but has made smell much worse.

If you feel around the underside of the bellows seal (the rubber piece that extends from the door opening to the tub), you will feel that it is slimy and will have debris stuck in it. Use paper towels or similar to remove as much as you can all the way around the circumference of the seal. Mix up a solution (about a quart/liter) of bleach and water in a 50-50 ratio, and wipe down the underside of the seal liberally, then clean the facing side as well. Pour the remainder of the solution into the tub of the washer, along with two more cups of bleach. Fill all of the dispenser cups (detergent/softener/bleach) with bleach, and select the hottest, longest cycle available. For us, this is the "sanitary" cycle. Run this cycle, and follow this with a normal cycle to remove the bleach residue. Front loaders are more prone to moisture build up than top loaders, and, for this reason, they are more likely to produce mold and foster bacterial growth. One very good thing to do after the sanitizing cycle that you just ran is to leave the door open between wash cycles. Top loading machines were normally left open as a matter of convenience, and did not produce as much of the smells associated with front loaders. This was due to air being allowed to circulate freely in the machine between washes, keeping the moisture contend lower,making it harder for growth to occur. Top loaders also drained around the seals better due to gravity. Even with the door being left open, you may have to run a sanitizing cycle as before from time to time. How often depends on your washing pattern, the quality of your water and other variables, so let your nose be your guide. In the most severe cases of odor, where the seal itself is permeated with bacterial growth, the seal can be replaced. Other options can also include removal and cleaning of the strainer. Normally, these are not required. Regular cleanings with proper air flow will normally be sufficient to keep the washer sweet smelling.
Try the cleaning first, as this normally does the trick, and leave the door open. If need be, post again, and one of us will guide you through the process further.
