First you have to do is try the machine without load. Attach everything as usual but do not attach the lance. Put on machine with water supply already on. If you close the gun the machine should stop. If you open the gun ( always with out lance)....the machine should start sending the water a bit far. If this is OK....then you have a lnance with a faulty, blocked NOZZEL.
NOrmally the machine stops when gun is released because there is a valve (Spill Valve) that actuates a electrical micro switch. This in turn closes off te elecreic supply...stopping the machine.
If with out lance your problem is still there....then the spill valve is faulty. AS I first said you must be sure that the nozzel is OK, so that you can blame the Spill Valve.
I raely service Spill Valves (Control Valves). I change with a new one. When open the cover using a TORX T15 screw driver....you locate the spill valve where there are 2 wires coming out. Some machines have the spill valve incorporated with the head and the intake and delivery valves unit. This I advize to change with new parts. These all in one heads are very good because at one go you change the spill valve and the other valves in one go.
Therefore in a few words you either have a blocked nozzel...or you have the spill valve faulty.
Also the delivery valves could be blocked...thus creating pressure inside and activating the spill valve to close off the electricity. You can also try to start the machine without gun and hose attached...but always with water being fed. NEVER put on a power washer without water being fed. And never store a power Washwer withpressure in it.

All outflow stops when I start the motor on my Troy-bilt 2600 pressure washer. What's up?

Could also be crack/leak in HP pump. If it were left in cold weather without antifreeze, I'd check there first. Part + labor might warrant new washer if more than a couple years old.
Sorry.

Ridgid pressure washer motor runs choppy when choke is disengaged

The choke reduces the air flow into the carb. If you are having problems with the choke off, it means that not enough fuel is getting into the engine and it is running lean. When you choke it, the reduced air flow causes the mixture to be correct and it runs fine.

Whirlpool washer AWG 305, water doesn't stop.

If the water flows though the inlet then the flow pressure should be good, if not the inlet valve is bad or there is dirt in the filter. Also check the flow at the inlet of the water line. Once the water comes into the system the WATER LEVEL SENSOR - normally a pressure switch- must activate at the preset/chosen level to give the signal to the program controller to switch on the motor. What is most important for the motor to start functioning is that the door switch must be ON when the door is shut or this will be an error for starting the motor for rinse and wash.

I can't get the pressure washer to start up. The water is coming out of the hose, but there is no water pressure

If the washer is the kind that shuts off completely when the pistol grip is released, the problem is likely the little pressure sensor located near the output fitting (the threaded part to which the hose connects). The sensor is a little plunger held down against an opening in the side of the pipe by a spring when there is low or no pressure in the output pipe, as when the trigger is pulled and the pressurized water in the hose is released by pulling the trigger. That completes the electrical circuit and the washer is on and continues pumping water. When the trigger is released, water in the hose and output pipe jams up super high pressure, forcing tjhe little plunger out against the spring, and the electrical circuit is broken. If you take the case apart, you will see wires coming from that area. The fix (if this is the problem) is to free up the little plunger.

Frigdaire heavy duty washer 13 cycles 2 speed motor. Washer no longer detects the water level. if you have it on small just continues to fill with water and never stops.. Washer flooded gargage. Any...

This can be due to failure of the pressure sensor within the washer which should output to the processor to cut off the inlet valve when the set water level has reached.
You can test this out by blowing into the tubing and testing the continuity of the switch to confirm if the diaphragm is intact.

Washer not starting however it is fulling water then when filled to desire level nothing happens after, that is it does not wash, rinse, etc

As mentioned if the washer on start of function/program , allows water to come in , then stops as the level is reached, the program controller must then output to the main motor to spin. If there is voltage to the motor but the motor hums, then check the capacitor or if the motor is jammed or the spindle shaft is jammed.
If there is no output to motor, check the door switch , if not the controller is faulty.

My Hobby88 pressure washer stopped working, now I

Could be just a faulty capacitor that helps the motor to start. You will find this next to the motor if you remove the top cover.
