I bought a new computer and I can not find my picture perfect disk for my Coolplex L11

Nikon retired PicturePerfect years ago, replaced by ViewNX and Nikon Transfer. You can download the current versions of all (free) Nikon software from
http://support.nikontech.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/13948

You might want to consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use Nikon Transfer or any other photo cataloging program.

I have the camera plugged into the computer and the screen turns blue and says msdc

That's perfectly normal. The camera is merely acknowledging the connection to the computer. You control the picture download process from the computer.

Uploading pictures back onto my camera

Set the camera to MTP instead of PTP in the settings menu on the camera. This will allow it to operate as a USB device instead of only interacting with the Nikon software.

Specifically...

Hit menu on the camera, go to the setup menu, and select USB and then make sure it's set to "Mass Storage" and not "PTP". Then connect the camera.

Hope this helps.

No display at all. But able to take pictures with Canon A75

Sounds like you might have accidentally turned the display off. Turn on the camera and press the DISP button once on the back of your camera.

Camera will not operate with USB cable connected

It's a long shot but it might be a problem with the cable itself, or it could be a problem with your USB ports on your PC, not supplying enough power.

Canon Powershot S400 take blown out outdoor pictures

The onlything i can sugest you try is to reset the camera. Im not sure how to do this other then to remove the rechargable battery and the button battery. Its a little round silver disk looking thing. Let it sit over night and see if it resets. Have you tried snapping a picture from every mode? TV,AV,SCN,Manual and Auto? Do they look washed out on your computer? Can you take a picture at 640X480 (S) and upload it so i can see what it looks like? Post a link to the image.
