Hello,
these means that you have problem with scanning lamp or scanning section.

Open the document cover and turn ON the copier, see if the lamp will glow, if not, probably you need to change the scanning lamp, but if it glows and you still has the E220, remove copy glass and put the scanning lamp in home position ( to the left side ) - NORMALLY BEFORE REMOVING THE LAMP TURN THE COPIER OFF AND PULL THE POWER PLUG FROM THE POWER OUTLET!!!!!

ImageRUNNER 400S Copier: Canon IR 330-400 Ps Ver 1.0 i keep getting the ...
E-100 is an error of the Laser Beam detect PCB. Either the laser unit is not working or the beam detect PCB is not detecting the beam. You can't see the beam so don't try. Since you are also getting a E-220 which is a Scan Lamp error. Most likely cause is a ribbon cable between the CCD unit and Image Processor PCB. You may need a tech to trouble shoot this problem

We have a copier CANON IR 400 and shows the message E220
This is the Charge Coupled Device. Its a part that would need to be replaced by a technician. There is no way to explain to you how to get to it or how you could order this part. Your local canon dealer should be able to help with this problem.
