First thing to try is unplug the unit for about 2 hours, and then plug it back in. If that fails, unplug it overnight and try again.
If that still doesn't work, send a reply to this solution, and we'll diagnose it further.
I would suggest you pull the AC plug overnight to see if this will reset it. There are components that may take hours to discharge.
If this doesn't help, you may have killed the IR receiver (or the cicuit that follows it) although it should happen on any newer consumer electronics that is properly designed and tested.
Both the set-top buttons and the remote eventually act on the same control circuit and if that has failed, it will not respond to remote or local control.
Diagnosis: If none of the above test resolve the issue, then the failure lies in one of the following:
The "CONTROL KEY" may be set to "OFF".
In order to set the "CONTROL KEY" to "ON" without using the remote control unit, keep holding
down the ENTER button on the projector and press the MENU button for more than 2 seconds
