Hi,
In most cases problems with the circulator pump boil down to two problems.
The most common is air in the lines causing an air lock.
The next problem is that the pump gets stuck and is not running even though itmay be hot and seem to be running. In this cause the pump can sometimes betaken apart, cleaned and it will work, but usually it needs to be replaced.

Here is a tip that I wrote that will explain circulator pump problems in moredetail.

Outdoor Wood Stove Hot Air or Hot Water

You're getting a new wood stove and you have many decisions to make. Other than brand, you need to decide whether you will use hot air or hot water to get the heat from the wood stove to the living space.

If you have a hot water heating system already installed then you obviously need to have a water stove. If you are thinking about what to install in a new home or already have hot air then you need to consider what will be the best option for you.

Now if you are installing a new system then you want to go hot water. That is by far the best way of heating and will be the best way to heat using an outdoor wood stove. Hot water heating is one of the best ways to get great heat transfer from the fire to the water to the air.

If you have hot air heat and want to heat with wood then you can install a wood hot air furnace, and set it beside your existing furnace. The ductwork will have to be reworked to get the heat from the wood furnace to the existing ductwork. Or you can install a coil into the ductwork on the supply side of the furnace, for the water to run through from a hot water wood burner. This is probably the best way to heat if you have a hot air furnace. Installing the hot water coil is a very simple process and the piping is fairly easy to hookup.

Hot air wood furnaces are almost always a inside the structure appliance, which means that you have the mess of the wood and the ashes inside. This dust and dirt mess is something that is much better kept outside where it can be cleaned up much easier.

Bottom line here is that you want to use a hot water wood burning stove if you can. You will be much happier with the heat that you get from burning wood.

Is the feed pipe a hot or cold feed?

Connect the dishwasher to the HOT water side. Although most dishwashers have a heating element to heat the water, they are normally installed this way to reduce the amount of time the heating element is on. This not only extends the life of the heating element, but also reduces the amount of electricity required to heat the water. Another helpful hint: Before you run the dishwasher, run the hot water tap until the water runs hot. This will fill the dishwasher with water that is already hot instead of the cold water that normally sits in the line after the hot water has not been run for a while. If you have questions, please let me know. I hope this helps you.

Asko dishwasher d3530. The water in the dishwasher is not hot.

Generally speaking, dishwashers don't heat cold water on their own. Be sure the dishwasher is connected to a hot water supply and that hot water is available to the dishwasher at the START of the cycle.

Often it takes hot water several seconds for house plumbing to deliver hot water to an outlet. If the dishwasher is connected to the kitchen hot water supply, run the water in the sink until the water runs hot before you start the dishwasher.

Dishwashers often have heaters to heat the water even hotter than most home water heaters, but they are not intended to heat cool or cold water. You MUST furnish hot water to the dishwasher from the time the cycle is started.

I've seen houses that take so long for hot water to reach a faucet, the dishwasher is already full (of cold water) before the first drop of hot water reaches it.

Good luck. Hope this helps.

Model YLR2-5-90HZ3 cold/hot/water dispnser with fridge won't heat

I have the YLR2-5-96H2 and hot water stopped heating up. I unscrewed the casing and unplugged the connections to the circular heating element and 2 circular probes. Brushed off the white dust build up on the probes and it started to heat water again. I ruled out faulty heating element, because it got really hot just seconds after turning on the hot water switch.
