Ihave a Hoover Vision HD washing machine and the "Door Security" light keeps flashing. I have looked in the manual and it says the door is not properly shut. However the door is correctly shut and as a result the machine will not operate . The door will open or close but will not start a cycle to wash. Any suggestions please????

Same thing has happend to me today, something gave a loud bang and all my sockets tripped, come to start my washer off again and all i kept getting was the door security light flashing it will not do anthing else , can anyone help thanks.

sounds like the door lock mechanism. if this cannot signal it has engaged, to the board, no other function will work (you don't want the washer going with the door open, trust me :) )

this happens with mine too....
Any solution would be very welcome. The machine seems to have a mind of it's own.

My hoover washing machine 1400 spin 8kg hd vision hd

Hi On my washer when I press the start button when allready in opperation all the lkights flash and it stops as this second press of the button pauses the machine and need the start button to be pressed again to restart the machine
