I have a Digimate DGL32 LT32C2P1 that is completely dead.
For a little while the indicator light on front was red and it slowly died .Now nothing.
It has gone into repair shop in Vancouver .They said no parts are available.

Hello arichlife,
This sounds like a power supply problem. When they said that there are no parts available, I believe what they are saying is that they can not get the module for this set, which is very possible because some TV sets have modules that were made in bulk in Taiwan and shipped out as a one time only deal (sad but true). However, my question is did they try to troubleshoot the module to see if they could find the discreet component(s) that are causing the problem? In any event I would suggest taking it to another shop and having the trouble looked at to component level not board level.
I hope this helps,
Thank you,

Thank You
I was thinking this was my next option, or do it myself.
tv turns on but screen is dark with what looks like a shadow made by a pain brush down the middle of it. Called Future Shop where it was bought 18 mths ago and they gave me the names of 3 places that fix digimates. None of them fix digimates. When I called Future Shop for about the 5th time they had no idea where to get it fixed and said I may as well throw it out and start over!!!! I told them that since they sold them they should know where to get them repaired but they had no idea. NO HELP from FUTURE SHOP at all.
