The turntable doesn't turn. Will using the microwave until I can replace the motor harm anything?

If the turntable platform has wheels sometimes they accumulated grease or other material that gums them up. This will cause the turntable to lurch and/or jump during rotation.
Remove the platform and soak it in hot soapy water taking care to clean each wheel.
Rinse, dry and re-install the platform.

I have a new JVM1750 just installed yesterday. There was some arcing, in what looked like underneath, a white circular disc in the ceiling of the internal cavity. Have checked for foil - none inside the...

That is your stirrer cover.

Any arcing there is usually due to grease or food particles, so on a new oven that would be as mystery.

But any time you get arcing under it, it has to be removed and cleaned.

We installed a GE JVM1750 and rotated the fan to recirculate the air. Air blows out the vent in the front, but does not pull air in from the bottom.... any ideas?

I would first suggest that you consult the owner's manual and installation guide.

If for some reason you don't have yours, you can download GE owner's manuals and installation instructions here.

You may have a clogged charcoal filter so that should be checked. They need to be replaced about every six months or so.

You can find helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts and filters by entering your full model number here.

The microwave oven does not have power to the panel.

HI, this will require the skilled hands of a qualified GE tech. the damaged part here is the Magnetron assembly. this is a very sensitive part that creates radiation and the heating process as well. you will need to replace this device asap if possible.
