I have a sch-r450 and i have a memory card but when i sync the music to the phone nothing happens

Check your memory card alignment and if its properly seated. If its a loose contact, your phone will definitely restart.

format your sd card with phone...connect to pc... add music.. make sure the music is mp3 format and the name of the song is less than 13 characters

i have tried continuesly to put music on to no avail. thankfully a hammer to it subsided my fustration.

I wanna know how to take it off slient mode

Try this:
Pu the card in the phone, and turn on the phone.
Turn the phone back on and remove the card.
Plug back into the computer and look for the music folder.
put all your mp3s in there and remove it from the computer.
Put it back in the phone and turn it back on.
It should now find all of your music.

on windows xp: 1 in start menue right click my computer, 2 click hardware tab, 3 go to device manager, 4 to find the correct device you will need to unplug the device and watch what device is removed in device manager, 5 plug the cable back to your phone, 6 open the device, 7 click update driver and xp will do the rest. this will allow you to access the memory card in the phone.

You have to install the USB sync drivers from your supplied CD-ROM before you can sync music.
Then select the "Music" option this will likely give you a prompt on your computer as to what to do next...

mp3s have to be 128kps in order 2 work.

Go to samsung website. The R450 have no driver. but download the drivers for any of their phones.

try that driver,if it does not work, then keep downloading drivers until one works, but this driver worked for me and my other friends.

Windows Vista have the drivers needed. But Windows xXP does not.

Also if the phone is not working with your memory card. move everything on your card to your computer and make a file for it. Then reformat your memory card from your phone. Then transfer back your files. Now my music and pictures are showing up.
