Your question is not clear. The pressure foot lifter only lifts the pressure foot. It doesn't make the needle spin.

f Fabric Is Not Feeding Properly

If the machine is not feeding fabric when you start sewing, it could be that the presser foot lifter has not been lowered before stepping on the foot controller. Lower the presser foot and resume sewing.
Another reason the machine may not be feeding fabric is that the feed dogs (or feed teeth) are disengaged, so make sure that they are properly engaged for sewing. (Note: If your machine has drop feed, resume normal sewing by moving the drop feed lever to regular sewing mode, then turn the hand wheel toward you one full revolution to re-engage the feed dogs).
The machine may also not feed fabric if the stitch length control is set to "0". Increase the stitch length setting and resume sewing. Reference - Singer .com. Troubleshooting tips.

Singer 7033, presser foot is disconnected. How do I fix it?

If the presser foot isn't connected to the presser foot shank, place the foot under the center of the shank. Lower the presser foot lifter making sure that the shank goes over the presser foot pin. Press down firmly on the screw that holds the presser foot shank until you hear the foot snap into the shank. Do not turn the presser foot shank screw. See the pictures on page 9 of the manual (page 11 of the PDF). Manuals LIb has this page here https://www.manualslib.com/manual/470415/Singer-7033.html?page=11#manual . The manual is also available from Singer on their support page: https://www.singer.com/support . The direct link to the manual is https://www.singer.com/sites/default/files/product_manual/SINGER%207029_7033_%207035%20and%209410%20Sewing%20Machine.pdf . For feet that are attached to the slant shank, you loosen the presser foot shank screw. Place the shank over the presser foot screw and then tighten the screw to hold the presser foot. If you removed a foot and the shank together, put it back on. Make sure that the needle and the presser foot lifter are in their highest positions. Push up the front side (toe) of the presser foot until the foot snaps off the shank.

If the presser foot doesn't snap into place, make sure that you have everything aligned properly. Otherwise check for damage to the presser foot and the shank. Replace any damaged parts. Some presser feet are available here: https://www.sewingpartsonline.com/singer-7033-sewing-machine-parts.aspx .

I hope this helps.

Why doesn't walking mechanism work?

if the pressor foot anvil doesn't move up and down /back/forth , the machine might be in "DARNING " mode this is usually a small button in the bobbin area , but some machines have them on the back of cabinet as well

When I sew silk or fine fabric the thread breaks and the fabric bunches up, what am I doing wrong, I first had the A foot and changed to B, changed the needle and still the problem persists

Check to be sure you are using needles and thread that are compatible with the fabric. Generally, finer threads will work better on fine fabrics along with a smaller needle. Be sure to change needles frequently as dull, bent, or nicked needles will cause very frustrating issues.
All About Needles

Remove the thread completely from the machine. RAISE the presser foot and rethread from the beginning, making sure the thread path is correct.

Some machines have a presser foot pressure adjustment (consult the owner's manual). Adjusting the pressure that the presser foot applies to the fabric & feed dogs is helpful when sewing especially fine or heavy fabric. Also, when sewing fine fabrics, loosening the tension could be beneficial.

Changing presser feet may also help, ie try using a straight stitch foot vs a presser foot for zig-zag stitching.

Something else you can try is finding a presser foot with a teflon finish or a roller foot that will glide or roll with the fabric through the machine. Even if you can't find a brand name presser foot for your particular machine, an adapter shank can probably be found that would allow you to use snap-on feet of all different designs and uses. Provides a lot of choices for presser feet for less than purchasing a brand-name presser foot. There are snap-on kits available on eBay and other auction sites.

Some machines also can take a straight-stitch needle plate--usually an additional accessory that can be purchased. The hole where the needle penetrates the needle plate to access the bobbin thread is actually a small round hole. With a zig-zag needle plate, the hole the needle penetrates is a wide rectangular hole that can allow fine fabrics to be pulled down through the hole. Zig-zag capable machines usually have a zig-zag needle plate as standard.

How do I change a pfaff 1222 presser bar lifter? I ordered a replacement part, but now I don't know how to remove it.

If you are lucky, your part will come with instructions. Each machine is a bit different but basically you have to get into the needle bar/presser foot bar area. If you are Lucky you can get to the lever assembly without having to take out a bunch of bars. But I've only ever seen that once on an industrial machine. So you take out the presser foot bar... to get to the lever. Use caution. You want to be sure you know where and how the parts fit in there. Take your time... take pics or make notes.

Good luck

I have a 9960 singer machine and am trying to use the buttonhole presser foot for the first time and I can not get it to sew T

the buttonhole foot snaps on to the presser bar, there's a little lever at the back of the presser bar that releases the foot, then put the buttonhole foot down on the needle plate & use the presser foot lifter (number 11) to lower the presser bar down onto the buttonhole foot & you'll hear a click sound when it snaps on & make sure to use the buttonhole lever(number 31) because the machine won't sew a buttonhole unless that lever is pulled down.

The presser foot lifter of my Singer 9432 has disconnected

Had the same problem.
Open the cover where the light bulb is.

Follow the presser foot rod up into the machine.

You will find a metal keeper with a set screw facing the now open end of the machine.

That set screw has most likely come loose.

Since the presser foot is spring loaded to the down position leave the presser foot raising lever in the down position.

With your flat bladed screwdriver, gently push the metal keeper to it's lowest position. If it does not go easy, loosen the metal keeper set screw a bit. Lefty loosey.

Tighten the set screw on the metal keeper. Righty tighty.

Presser foot lifter is stuck can i fix it

If you can't lift the presser foot up at all undo the presser bar screw on top of the presser bar, if you have a dial turn it to 0, you should now be able to move the lever, if it is still tight put some WD40 on the presser bar and leave it for a couple of hours.

Faulty presser foot lifter on a singer 2110/2112.

I have seen these machines with broken presser bar clamps (something inside the head). If it is just a bind then some oil on the presser bar may work, if the clamp is broken then it is probably not worth fixing.
Good luck!

How to connect the walking foot for ls-2125i? I have removed the snap on presser foot. Unscrewed the leg so I could screw on the foot. The white piece to the right does not fit on my screw so it just...

Turn power switch to "0"
raise the needle to highest position by turning the wheel toward you(counterclockwise) and raise the presser foot lever
release the foot by raising the lever located at the back of the presser foot assembly
place a different presser foot on the needle plate so that the bar on the presser foot is in line with the slot on the shank
lower the presser foot lever and fix the presser foot onto the shank. If the p foot is in the correct location the bar will snap in you should hear a click or snapping sound let me know if this helped thanks! amy
