Hi i use YM 8.1.0.421. When i try to call pc to pc or if sombedy try to call me it crashes. Can you help me please ? Thank you !

Few sugesstions :

1) Check whether if your windows is installing new updates, sometimes YM does crash when window is updating. If you are using Win7, then just go to: --> Control panel/ System & security/ Windows Update/ Change setting. In the setting panel, you will see " Important Updates " box selection. Change it to "Check for updates but let me choose whether to download & install them". Restart your pc/laptop, then try log in to your YM.

2) *This step won't be necessary but won't do any harm too, go to: Control Panel --> System & Security --> System --> Advance System Settings. In the " Advance " tab, click "setting" at the " performance " column. Select " Data Execution Prevention ", select " Turn on DEP for all programs & services except those i select", Insert your YahooMessenger.exe (C:/Program Files/Yahoo!/Messenger/YahooMessenger) into the add list. Restart PC/laptop & try to log in to YM.
3) If those won't work, uninstall your current YM, restart your pc/laptop, then try installing a new one. HI, You can try uninstalling Ym and reinstalling it again. This usually fixes the problem with program. What is you operating system by the way? . You can try to optimize your computer also.

Some files may be corrupted or removed while DE-fragmentation try re-installing yahoo messenger.

got the same problem,

make sure you have updated all your drivers via win update and remove the ym from your computer and download a fresh one and reinstall

I, for one, appreciate your sincerity. I hope it is not false. There have been many different versions of YM over the years and most of them would probably work with the newest Operating System to some degree. Have you verified that you are using the latest YM as I suggest the Beta 9 version instead of the non-beta 8.1 version. My recommendations has more to do with security then anything else but since I KNOW that beta 9 works with my built-in webcam it would nice to know you are using a version of YM that I trust and use nearly 24 hours a day. By the way, when you de-install the old YM, kindly remove the Yahoo! folder ( delete the folder after the de-installation and before the re-installation of software ) located under program files as corrupted files can be left after the de-installatin that might and could affect your future re-installation of the software. If this is the only problem you can see, i.e. no other system problems, I will assume you have a clean computer ( one not infected by some virus, etc ) so just do as instructed above and get back to me please.
