Rebates are handled by the agent you purchased from and the manufacturer website. If you believe you have a rebate coming, then it would behoove you to contact the agent you purchased from and or the company website that would have been printed on the box in which your merchandise was packaged.

If you go to the company that is offering the rebate they should have something telling you how. You will possibly need to enter some code from your receipt, etc.

In Nov 2007 I purchased a computer (HP-a6200n-Serial No.:CNX74301SY) from Circuit City. This computer was equipped with a Lexmark 2500 Series printer. I received an adequate amount of documentation with...

Hopefully you kept copies of the rebate and receipt in case you have to prove it. I would contact the folks where I sent the rebate to. If you get no resolution this way, see if Circuit City would take care of you. I had this happen with a store online, and they gave me part of my rebate back and store credit and it wasn't even their screw up, and this was a year later. I would also Google and see if anyone else has had this issue on this deal.

How do I get my rebate form for a Mouse that I just purchased?

Follow the steps given on the rebate forms. Sometimes stores will have a place where they keep rebates or they may be at the register, just ask. Make copies of everything in case you have to follow-up with the company. If you download a rebate form, be sure to keep a copy on the computer. I make it a habit of scanning my rebate forms, upc, and sales receipts in case I have to email them.

Personally, I have probably used at least 50 rebates. I have had about 5 denied, and about 8 where I had to follow up. As a suggestion, before you purchase something on a rebate, either make sure they are a legit, name brand company (you can get better resolution on any issues) and/or research on the net to make sure that other folks aren't having rebate issues. You definitely take a risk when making purchases on a rebate.

I just bought a Canon Pixma MX700, can't find serial no. for rebate

You need the UPC code for a rebate. You won't find that on the printer itself. It's on the box that the printer came in, usually one of the flaps or on an end panel. Most rebates require that you cut out this square (it says Secondary Proof of Purchase and has the code in it) from the box and mail it with the rebate (that's to keep people honest, I guess). According to a rebate coupon I found for the MX700, it should be a 12-digit (all numeric) code.
I'm not that old a Marine. I retired from the Marines 20 years ago, but once a Marine always a Marine (we make an exception for Lee Harvey Oswald).

Unable to check on rebate-received no notice of receipt-ending 29 Jan 08-purchased 27 Jan 08 and $40 rebate mailed in.

If it was a manufacturer rebate from Raidmax you can email them at [email protected]. I would try to have as much info as possible. I know most rebates usually require a copy of sales receipt and some sort of form and maybe the upc code from the box. I always make copys of everything I send in for a rebate for just this sort of thig thing. Let them know everything as far as date sent, name, product, rebate info, etc. If it was a store rebate the same rules apply but check on their website or ask the store what to do. Once again make sure you have as much info as possible and be patient. I know by experience these things can take a while. Good luck and hang in there.
