Foxconn 600A01-6LRS FANS START BUT NOTHING ON screen

Hi i just bought a Foxconn 600A01-6LRS mobo and ive plugged everything in but nothing shows up on the screen the fans turn on and hard drive spins up so it is defanatly not the psu. I have tried a tv on s video out and that just lights up for a second and then it goes blank. the monitors dont do anything. any help would be appriciated seeing as i paid $120 for it and would like to get it going. also would it be smart to buy a diagnostic card. thanks

    its agp. ive tried a 4x nvidia geforce 440 mx and a tnt 2. the mobo suports 8x agp

    I have a FOXCONN 600A01-6LRS motherboard and noting is on the screen, no video, no beep codes nothin but CPU fan running.Tried several power supplies, same result can you helP

Does your video card suit the motherboard they have different ratings
2X 4X 8X 16X if yours is a 16X and you fit to any lower number it will not work this is for both AGP and PCI-E

Try this motherboard troubleshooting beeping code first.
No beeping means short circuit,loose parts.
One beep means everything is working good.
Two beeps means CMOS error.
One long beeps,two short beeps means video problem
Three long beeps means keyboard error.
Continuous long beeps means memory not detected.
Continuous Hi-Lo beeps means processor overheat,loose blower fan heat sink.

If no beeps need to change capacitor parts of motherboard for burn, short and open leakage.

hi there..

i also have the same mobo like yours. i also thinking to upgrade my old processor with better one..

made some quick research.. i would say the mobo unable to support the new processor. checked the BIOS update n CPU support list in Abit's site..

didn't show X4 processor is supported :(

just dump everything and buy a branded new PC....
u will be increasing ur BP....it;s not worth this much effort....
the kind of work u have done...it seems ur an expert so u urself work it out what's wrong...and where did u make a mistake...

i guess ur CPU and MB are not getting along....some issue with ur integration.....of all parts....

Check if the processor temperature. ... sounds like that could be the problem. It would cause the computer to FREEZE the moment you start "working" on it because then the processor must do it's thing but it instantly overheats because either the processor cooler fan is'nt functioning correctly or the thermal paste has hardened and no longer offers a "connection" between the processor and the fan

Alienware c51xem2aa out the box wont turn on
If there was a spark and it smelled, something probably burned through. If I were you, I'd send it back to Alienware and request a new one. Even if you could fix this now, the risk of it breaking again in the future is much bigger. I hope you'll get your new PC fast, Yannick.

try to look on the jumper settings on the motherboard before you upgrade your proccessor maybe they need to be adjusted.tryb to put back the one wich was there and see what happens.how many beeps does your computer makes when you switch in on?if it makes more than one then your proccessor is not compatible with the board.a computer should beep once whenevever its switched on
