Tip & How-To about FixYa Service

FixYa Experts, answering your qustions!!

The experts on fixYa will help you as much as they can and with hopes if they do not know or have something that is useful to share they will step back from the problem. I think that some of the people that are looking for help might be looking to much into the site, You have to keep in mind that the help we as the expert community give you is based in the knowledge we have gained over the years of working on and with the products we give advise on.
We as the experts sadly can not tell whats wrong only what we feel is the problem, we CAN tell you things to check and how to check them but without you willing to work with us and understand that what we tell you to check may not always be what wrong, but how we the experts would start to find the problem.
Sometimes the experts may not give you something to check but the people and sources you will need to get the right answers. Don't over the look the help that this can be, this is how people learn more about the problems they are having, by talking to the people that deal with that everyday. Not everyone is always going to have the answers, everyone can learn something everyday.
You will be able to tell the differences between someone that is unsure of the answers they are giving you and someone that has taken the time to answer your questions and give you worth while advise. I would suggest that even if the answer a expert gives you is not what you need or helpful thank them for there time. We are here to help you as best as we can and it is always nice when someone sees the time invested into each problem.

Hi, i just recently joined Fixya, and would like to know, How/when do you start earning?

Hi, actually everything is mentioned in the "FaqExp" section [click HERE], I am also one of FixYa's expert like you, so I don't think it's necessary to explain everything to you. I would suggest you to contact FixYa CM (Community Manager), she'll explain you everything. Here's her email address "[email protected]". For your information, let me suggest you something, when I checked your solutions, there are few solutions which cannot be considered solution, for example, you've posted "Google it bro..", "Google the schematics...It most likely will be there." etc.. It's very important for us to help them with the download links if the askers need it instead of telling them to simply google... I don't mean anything, but it's for the betterment of FixYa and for us experts. Good Luck.
Let me know if you need further help.

Regards, Nonontech

If you post You Tube videos to your blog regularly, sharing directly from YouTube is even easier and you'll only have to set it up once Follow it step by step
  • Click the "Share" button on the You Tube video's page
  • Scroll down and click "Setup your blog for video posting."
  • Click "Add a Blog/Site"
  • Choose "Blogger" as your Blog Service and fill in your Google Account login information.
  • Choose which blogs you'd like to add to your You Tube account. You can choose more than one.

Nintendo usb connector

hi coolsoph,

Firstly, take note that Windows Vista doesn't support the Nintendo USB connector (currently there is now way of making it work on Vista, hopefully this will be resolved with the release of Vista Service Pack 1).

Secondly, and this is if you are using Windows XP as your computer operating system, try these steps to enable XP to share it's Internet connection with other computer (for ex your Wii):

1. Click Start -> Control Panel
2. In Control Panel open the Network Connections applet
3. Right-click on your active connection (will be named something like "Local Area Connection" if you use a cable to connect to your router or "Wireless Network Connection" if you use a wireless technology to connect to your router).
4. Click on Properties
5. Select the Advanced tab
6. Check the box named "Allow other network users to connect through this computer's Internet connection" in the Internet Connection Sharing area.
7. For good measure you can restart your PC after checking the box

I hope this is helpful information and thanks for using the FixYa services
Regards
