Hold the power button in for 10 to 15 seconds for hard shut down if that doesn't work unplug power for about 5 minutes then plug power back in and see what happens
looks like old xp machine. power supply could be flaky,bad caps on the board,dust build up on the cpu fan or graphics card causing it to over heat and shut down
You are confusing Hibernation, where the RAM is written to the HDD and power is turned off without unloading the OS, with Screen saver (control panel - display).
