Hi. Most ink cartridges are cyan magenta yellow and black. You do have to have all cartridge installed for it to work. If it's been sitting for a while ink dries and can cause all kinds of little problems. The ink cartridges have little contacts on them you might have to clean these with a cotton swab and alcohol. But if the ink has dried in the print head you have to clean all the little ink ports on the head.

Print cartridge in right stall not supported for hp 2410

Print cartridge is a knock off. Cartridges have printed circuits in them that the printer can recognize as being the original replacement. This is to keep people from using other products in their printer, which I think is foul, since you paid for the printer and it technically belongs to you. Sometime HP will make cartridges with faulty circuits that the printer will not recognize.. If that is the case call them and demand a new ink cartridge.

Hp c6180 states cartridges missing or damaged

OK now this might seem bizarre, but did you go ahead and click the "Black Only" print option?

I have a C6180. Just installed all new cartridges. Tried to print and got the message that Cyan is empty. Tried all sorts of things. Then out of frustration clicked the Black Onl option. Document came out printed in color! Double checked with a picture that has lots of cyan colors. It all printed too! Go figure.

Dear Sir, I have one HP business inkjet 1200 printer and its not working due to one small problem which is difficult to identified. Problem is that in circle under C one light always blinking. C...

Check to see if the installed cartridge is the correct one for the printer. If the cartridge is the proper part number, remove the ink cartridge and make sure all the packaging tape has been removed from the copper circuitry strip on the backside of the cartridge. Reinsert the cartridge and try printing again.

If the error continues, remove the cartridge again and clean the copper circuitry strip on the backside of the cartridge, and the contacts inside the printer, by following the instructions below:

1. Use a clean, dry, soft, lint-free cloth. Locate the copper-colored circuitry strip on the back of the cartridge.

2. Wipe the copper-colored strip with the dry cloth. Use an upward motion, from the nozzle end to the top of the cartridge. Do not wipe the nozzle end of the cartridge or touch the nozzle plate. Wipe the contacts only once.

3. To clean the printer contacts, carefully look for fibers or contamination on the electrical contacts inside the carriage assembly, but do not wipe the printer contacts with any object. The contacts in the printer can be damaged if too much pressure is applied during a wiping process. Try to remove any visible attached debris within the carriage assembly by gently pulling the debris off with your fingers. If the carriage contacts show noticeable damage, contact the Customer Care Center listed in the printer's User's Guide.

Reinsert the cartridge and try printing again. If the error continues, the cartridge may need to be replaced.

Thanks.
Have a good day

Tri colour problembought to refilled cartridges one displays problem other table, is it the refilled cartridges or the printerwrong cartridge 344 not compar

Hello!
When the printer tells you "wrong cartridge", it is because it cannot recognize the cartridge.
Remove the color cartridge and gently wipe the electric contacts on it with a dry cloth. Put the cartridge back in and check for error messages.
If the problem persists, you will need to buy a new color cartridge, because the one you have is damaged- one of the contacts on it has blown, and when you place it in the printer, it won't recognize it, because one of the contacts is missing (that is why some printers give a warning sign "cartridge missing").
Hope that helps!

Printer wont recognize a new ink cartridge

Let's hope it is only some dirt or oil on one of he many little electrical contacts, in the printer, that touch the back of the ink cartridge, which can be cleaned with a Qtip and denatured alcohol. if that doesn't work, you probably have damaged the contacts somehow, and will need a repairman. PS- your lucky- some printers won't even print in black if there's a problem with a color cartridge.

IP4300 only recognizes magenta OR cyan

1. Get compressed air
2. Run Printhead under HOT water, do not worry about contacts getting slightly wet.

3. Blow compressed air with straw attachment into screens where the cartridge nozzle sits on printhead. then let it sit and dry.

4. reinstall print test page

5. if this fails open paint/photoshop and print a page of the color that is not printing correctly. rinse and repeat until colors flow freely.

I have several ip4300s and I have yet to give up the ghost on a printer with a clog ujsing this method.

I have a hp 7580 printer. Recently changed ink cartridges, almost immediately afterwards, i received an error code stating the printhead needed replacing. I changed the printhead as directed, rebooted to...

Normal 0 Could have a corrupt driver.
Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off. I'd do both and when the CD software program asks you to connect the printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.
Hope this helps. Bud
