Hello,
It looks like you need to replace printhead and purge unit.

Hope that helps!

It asks technical service

Usually this means, that the waste ink absorber is full, or at least the printer's internal ink counter reached maximum capacity.
When the printer cleans it's heads, it "spits out" some ink into a special container, called the waste ink absorber. The internal counter prevents the ink overflowing from that container, and staining whatever the printer stands on.
If you want to avoid a visit to a service depot and try experimenting yourself, try www.fixyourownprinter.com, you may be able to find some guidelines there.
Good luck!

Light Cyan printing problem in R230 model printer noozle seems to be bocked. From: nain

Cleaning cycles use lots of ink. Go to http://www.inkproducts.com/ and buy a CISS for your printer. It will save you tons of money, you never change cartridges and never run out of ink [yes, you do have to fill the tanks once in a while] Bulk ink is cheap. The CISS will pay for itself in a month. Don't forget to get a Waste Ink Container, it hooks up to the printer and instead of the unusable ink going to the waste ink pad, it goes to the container which can then be emptied, washed and used over and over. The waste ink pad when full will need to be replaced or the printer will not print. Changing the pad is messy and a PITA. They have cleaning kits.

Message" waste ink absorber"

There is an absorbent sponge in the bottom of your waste ink container to help contain the waste ink your printer generates when it cleans the print head nozzles. That sponge is probably full and has triggered a "most informative" error message!

Check your user's manual about the procedure for changing the absorber and where to buy new ones.

Printer has ink BUT has stopped printing

It is your print head, not ink cartridge
It is reasonably easy to change yourself - google for Stylus C70 printer head

Parts inside your printer are coming to the end of their life

It could be the Waste Ink Pad. Call Epson tech support for the correct answer. If it is the pad go to the site below and get a Waste Ink Container. It sits outside the computer. Lood at the CISS, it will save you Tons of money.

Horizontal lines in printing of photo

Hi!

Please check the waste container where the ink cartridges rest. After some time, ink sprayed into this container during cleaning cycles and builds up to form a heap of solid waste material of ink. On getting too high it makes contact with the printer head and drags ink across all printed material which is required to be cleaned out with a small wooden stick or brush.

Please do rate this solution as FixYa and revert for further assistance.

Thanks

Waste ink pad saturated.

First, we need to know what model # it is. A lot of the epson printers have a sponge in the bottom of the printer that the waste ink goes into. The waste ink comes from cleaning the heads. Everytime you turn on an Epson printer, it runs a head cleaning so your best bet with epson printers is to leave them on. You can get waste ink containers for most model on several ink supply websites, but you have to reset the waste ink notification before it will print again. There are several ways of doing this with the different printers, but you can download a program to help you. You can download it from here:
