Hi My Sony Camcorde was working well for the past 2 year. suddenly it stop working. i fully charged the battery and switching it on, display is not coming. but when i connect to power card and switching on, it works fine and display screen appears. now when i remove the power card, display goes off and it is not working. i dont know what is the problem, even i tried with new batteries, the same problem exist. any solutions? or suggest a repair shop thanks,

This is usually caused by a failed component in the power circuit within the camera and can usually be repaired fairly inexpensively. However, it's not a user serviceable problem and will need to be repaired qualified service technician.

Seems to be the case where the battery is not fully recharged , Please follow the below steps :-

  1. Please make sure that you charge your battery fully , till the time you see an indicator for the battery being fully charged , or may be you see an icon in the display screen with the charge status.
  2. As far the 6.30 hr duration that you have mentioned, this duration reflects the time that you have left for total recording space on your disk or memory card depending on your current source for recording.
  3. The above duration is not to be confused with the battery usage time.

Power Driver is charged - won't work

If you are sure that battery is fine, problem can be in the switch or brushes. I would check switch first - open the driver, take 2 wires and attach battery directly to motor contacts, in case it works, problem is most probably in the switch. Juraj

K750i Not switching on when charging the infrared port glows

i have the same problem with my k750i, without any damage or accident it went off, and thereafter i could not switch on despite several attempts. The battery is fully charged and the sim works with other cells. there is no any sign and the phone is compeletely dead.
